“Proposed passenger tax increases to the Caribbean – let’s unite and fight!”

Posted by Maxwell in Tourism on July 13th, 2009

Those were the words released in an article published this Saturday on The Caribbean Net News website, titled UK-based Caribbean leaders unite against proposed passenger tax increases!

In the article, increased passenger taxes for UK originating travelers is openly discussed as well as how they are calculated based on distance from London to the destination country’s capital.  An interesting read for those of us who wonder how travel between the UK and Barbados will continue to cost us more, whilst the airlines continue to cut costs.
