An up n’ coming young and talented make-up artist in Barbados: Leah Whitehead
Leah’s interest in make-up artistry began when she started modelling. She loved seeing the final finish and glow of confidence that a make-up artist could give a person by just enhancing their best features. This became a goal for her to pursue…
She studied make-up artistry at the Joe Blasco Makeup Centre in Orlando, Florida in 2007 and can give you any look that you desire, from glamorous beauty to gorey special effects and monster make-up.
She continues to build her portfolio while perfecting and creating new ideas and already works with an array of advertising agencies and photographers in Barbados and the Caribbean. A selection of theses images are shown below and include photography taken by Jake Thomas and Dave Cox.
Her make-up is featured in the third edition of “Caribbean Bride” magazine and she has done numerous weddings, with more to come, including Natalie-Ann Clarke and Alexis Garrett.
As a make-up artist, Leah has also accompanied ‘Exclusive Cottons of the Caribbean’ on fashion shoots and has travelled to Grenada to cover advertising being produced for the Island.
If you’re interested in having your make-up done with perfection at an affordable price, please contact Leah on:
